Hollister Montessori School accepts children beginning at the age of two and a half. Children must have independent bathroom skills. We encourage parents to enroll children at this age because it allows for the completion of a three/four-year cycle, prior to entering an elementary program.
Families interested in visiting the school should schedule a tour on our website or call our office for an appointment. During the tour, the Montessori Method will be explained, you will have the opportunity to observe our classroom in action, and parents will have the opportunity to ask any questions. Once we have a space available, we’ll schedule a time for you to visit with your child during a one-on-one meeting with the head of school, Debbie Parga.
Registration, materials and fees are due along with your registration forms. HMS has open enrollment up till February, as space becomes available.
Come visit Hollister Montessori School and see why we believe the Montessori Method is our hope for a stronger, more peaceful tomorrow.
It’s never too early to begin the application process. We invite you to schedule a tour so that you may see our campus and see in person what we have to offer. Observing our classroom will give prospective families a chance to see the uninterrupted morning work cycle: a hallmark of Montessori education. You will have an opportunity to meet with our administrative staff to ask any question you may have. Please note that these initial visits are for *adults only.*
After you complete a tour, you have the opportunity to join our waitlist. Please fill out our waitlist form after your tour and return it to our administrative staff. We will contact you when a space becomes available.
Once a space becomes available, we will ask you to complete the required registration documents and submit our registration and materials fee by a due date to secure your space. Enrollment generally happens in March for the following school year but occasionally, a space will open up mid year.
HMS values and promotes parent involvement as an integral part of our school community. We believe that your active participation not only benefits our students but also enriches your experience as a member of our school family. Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) serves as a dynamic platform, fostering numerous engaging opportunities for you to contribute your time and talents towards supporting our school's mission and helping our students thrive.
